I live where it gets way too hot, but I love it. I have a sweetheart, a son in college, and an adorable dog. I have a professional life too, but I try to keep that separate as an elementary school teacher. It’s really hard to keep it separate from everything else!
I use Twitter in spurts, and get sucked into it way too easily. There are so many incredible blogs, and tweets to follow that a person could surf 24/7. Since my life doesn’t allow me that luxury, I tend to go in waves.

I was a teacher for over forty years so I understand the thrill and not so much thrill of teaching. Some days better than others. Lesson plans, tests and meetings, meetings and more meetings.

Yes. The actual teaching part of it is great and so worthwhile, especially when you have a group that doesn’t have a lot of discipline issues. Good administration helps a lot too, don’t you think? 🙂
