Not bad for a fat girl

About

I live where it gets way too hot, but I love it. I have a sweetheart, a son in college, and an adorable dog. I have a professional life too, but I try to keep that separate as an elementary school teacher. It’s really hard to keep it separate from everything else!

I use Twitter in spurts, and get sucked into it way too easily. There are so many incredible blogs, and tweets to follow that a person could surf 24/7. Since my life doesn’t allow me that luxury, I tend to go in waves.

I’m glad you’re here, please jump in at any time.

  14. I was a teacher for over forty years so I understand the thrill and not so much thrill of teaching. Some days better than others. Lesson plans, tests and meetings, meetings and more meetings.

    • Yes. The actual teaching part of it is great and so worthwhile, especially when you have a group that doesn’t have a lot of discipline issues. Good administration helps a lot too, don’t you think? πŸ™‚

  15. I’ve nominated you for a handful of awards. Maybe there’s one here you haven’t already received from someone else. πŸ™‚
