Honestly, there’s not much to say beyond ooh la la. The food we ate in France was fantastic. Even the food we didn’t eat (but saw in shops and restaurants) was fantastic. See for yourself.

I had the good fortune to visit Paris recently, and it was everything I’d hoped it would be and more. The sights, sounds, smells…this city is a feast for the senses. Here’s just a small sample of the delights the city holds. These portraits were drawn on the side of an old building that is part of the Sorbonne (or at least that’s what I think the sign meant).

No Words for Paris

CTukshqVEAAZdHXI want to write about the Paris attacks, but I don’t have the words.

When I was a child we watched the news every night on TV. There were terrorists in England and Ireland. There were terrorists in Israel.

Time has passed but there is still terror.

A night on the town turned into a last night alive. Dinner. A concert. A football match.

I’ve thought about these types of attacks since I was a child. I still don’t understand them. I never will.
